Diana Alva is employed full-time for Professional Risk Management (PRMS) a medical malpractice third party administrator.  She has been with PRMS since 1999 as an underwriter and in 2000 moved to the Finance Department as the claims/reinsurance analyst and currently as the Assistant Vice President of Finance. She manages all claims reporting to the reinsurer as well as management of the overall claim payments. She also provides analytical reports to the actuaries. She came to PRMS from Security Capital Group where she was a risk management analyst. She has also worked for Archstone Communities Trust/Security Capital Atlantic Incorporated as a financial analyst and was with Lifeguard as an Underwriter. She received her undergraduate degree in business administration in finance from the University of Texas-El Paso. In 2006 she earned her Masters in Science in Insurance Management from Boston University. She is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and an Associate in Reinsurance.
