Regina Armstrong, chair, Social Science Department and assistant professor of criminal justice, has worked at Olivet College since 2006.

Prior to teaching at Olivet, Armstrong served as curriculum developer for Ferris State University (FSU) in Big Rapids. She also worked at the Michigan Youth Correctional Facility, where she was the chief of security and training director. There she managed several departments and supervised employee training requirements. Armstrong’s also taught at Baker College and worked as a correction officer with the Lake County Sheriff’s Department.

She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from FSU.
