Janine Peters, assistant professor of mathematics and computer science, has worked at Olivet College since 2002. Peters teaches intermediate algebra, complex analysis, geometry, nature of mathematics, statistics, linear algebra, probability and various calculus courses. She is adviser to Helping Hands, the college's student organization committed to community service projects. She is also one of the college's faculty athletic representatives to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Peters earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science from Lawrence Institute of Technology and a master's degree in mathematical statistics from Wayne State University (WSU). She has completed some graduate courses towards her doctorate in mathematics at WSU.
