Sue Settle, assistant professor of education, began teaching at Olivet College in 2006.

She teaches courses in learning communities, individualized reading instruction for elementary education students and elementary methods and is the director of elementary student teachers.

Prior to joining the faculty full-time, Settle worked part-time as an instructor at Olivet. She also worked as a kindergarten and first-grade teacher at Galewood Elementary School in Charlotte. Settle earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Michigan State University.
