Charles Wilson, associate dean for academic affairs and assistant professor of education, has worked at Olivet College since 1999.

He teaches Ed 203 education of the exceptional learner as well as IDS 151 self and community.

Wilson has more than 30 years of experience, working as a teacher and principal at the WJ Maxey Boys Training School as well as the assistant athletic director, instructor and academic advisor at Michigan State University (MSU). At Olivet, Wilson has been the athletic director, director of the Masters of Arts in Teaching program and chair of the Education Department. He is also the faculty athletic representative to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and severs on the NCAA Division III Management Council and the association-wide Committee on Competitive Safeguards and the Medical Aspect of Sports.

Wilson earned a bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. in education from MSU.
