The Office of College Relations works to advance the image and goals of Olivet College by promoting the institution's mission; by enhancing communication with all constituencies; and by fostering alumni, community and media relationships to increase support for the college.

About the Office of College Relations
The Olivet College Office of College Relations is responsible for all matters relating to internal and external communications of the college. The office promotes and raises awareness of Olivet College to its alumni, friends, parents, prospective students and the general public. It does this through the news media, publications, World Wide Web and other outlets. The office promotes the college's programs and upcoming events and the outstanding achievements of its students, faculty, staff and alumni.
Located in Dole Hall, the Office of College Relations staff has extensive experience in a variety of areas and works with all campus departments and offices to assist them in achieving their communication goals.
Alumni Relations
Responsible for implementing a comprehensive alumni program to build participation and support through communication, personal interaction and organization of reunions and special events.
Media Relations
News releases regarding the latest news, upcoming events and student, faculty and staff accomplishments are prepared and distributed to the media.
Publications and the Web
Conceptualizes, designs and manages the printing of all campus publications. Also responsible for campus photography as well as maintaining and updating the college's Web site.
Special Events
Plans and organizes a variety of campus events, including Lecture and Symposuim Series speakers, Honors Convocation, Commencement and the Leadership for Individual and Social Responsibility Awards Dinner.
Sports Information
Manages all media relations, publications and statistics for Olivet's 18 varsity athletic programs. Also responsible for maintaining the athletics Web site.
