Olivet College is seeking candidates for the position of Women's Hall Director

FUNCTION: Job Summary
This is a full-time, year round, "live-in" position.  The Hall Director is a member of the Student Life Staff, directly responsible for the administration of his/her hall. The hall director implements, maintains, and evaluates a program in the resident hall which will result in the greatest educational, social, and cultural growth for the individual student and the living group as a whole.

Responsibilities
The Hall Director is directly responsible for the total administration of his/her residence hall.  This involves the following areas:
            1.  Administration/management
            2.  Counseling and advising
            3.  Educational development
            4.  Residence hall programming
            5.  Supervision of the hall staff          
            6.  Supports role of the Director of Residence Life

Perform duties in a diverse, challenging and occasionally stressful environment.

Preferred Education and Experience – Master’s Degree in Student Affairs or a closely related filed with 2 years experience in a residence hall environment.

Required Education and Experience - A Bachelor's Degree with 2 years' experience of living in the residence halls.
