Olivet College is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Professor of History

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach a variety of History courses including American and World history, and participate in the liberal arts core curriculum.  Full-time faculty members teach 24 credit hours over two semesters.  Participate in student advising, departmental and college committees, orientation, recruiting of new students and other aspects of residential college life. This is a full-time tenure track faculty position with potential for contract renewal and promotion. 

REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must have at minimum a Master's degree with a Ph.D. in History.

STARTING DATE:   Aug., 2010
