OLIVET, Mich.The annual Olivet College Comet Classic 5K Run and Stroll Through the Oaks will be held Saturday, July 26. The 5K competitive run begins at 8:30 a.m. in front of the colleges Burrage Library, with the stroll through the oaks (one-mile walk and family fun run) beginning at 8:45 a.m.

The registration fees are $15 for adults 18 and older; $5 for students 13 to 17, or Olivet College students; $2 for children 12 and under; and $15 for a family with at least one adult. The registration deadline is July 18. A $5 late fee will be added to those who register past this date.

Awards are given to the top overall individual finishers, both male and female, and to top division finishers. Each runner or walker receives a T-shirt and a chance to win raffle prizes.

Late registration and packet pick-up is from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. the morning of the race.
