Olivet College ready for Service Day Sept. 26
Sep 21, 2012

Olivet College will host its 14th annual Fall Service Day Wednesday, Sept. 26 this year.

Putting aside their busy schedules and normal routines, faculty, students and staff will volunteer on campus and in the community as part of Service Day activities. Projects include: cleaning and sorting for various college departments; East Lansing AIDS walk; painting chairs for the Art Alliance Chair Project; removing invasive species from the Kirkeldell Biological Preserve; reading to residents of the Charlotte Medical Care Facility with Project Cherish; and more.

Service projects are organized by Olivet College employees, students, athletic teams, Greek societies and student organizations. Some activities are open to the public.

For more information or to sign up for a project, contact Ian Peters, community service coordinator, at (269) 749-7127, or ipeters@olivetcollege.edu.
