Olivet College set for Spring Service Day March 27
Mar 21, 2013

Olivet College’s 14th annual Spring Service Day will be held on Wednesday, March 27.

Putting aside their busy schedules and normal routines, faculty, students and staff will volunteer on campus and in the community as part of Service Day activities. Projects include: baking muffins for the elderly, cleaning and organizing the Oak Chest, painting the football locker room, spring cleaning and animal enrichment at the Capital Area Humane Society, cleaning and preparing the garden for spring at the Upton Conservatory Garden, removing invasive plant species at Kirkeldell Biological Preserve, visiting the residents of Hope Landing and many more.

Service projects are organized by Olivet College employees, students, athletic teams, Greek societies and student organizations. Some activities are open to the public.

For more information, contact Ian Peters, community service coordinator, at (269) 749-7127 or ipeters@olivetcollege.edu.
