OLIVET, Mich. Olivet College will hold auditions for three community musical ensembles Tuesday, Sept. 2 and Thursday, Sept. 4 from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Margaret Upton Conservatory of Music.

The Olivet College community orchestra will be conducted by Jorge Richter, former director of the University of Tennessee symphony orchestra, and will rehearse Mondays from 7 to 9 p.m. The community band will be directed by Danilo Mezzadri, Olivet Colleges director of instrumental music, and will rehearse Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Olivet College drum line will be directed by Mezzadri. Dave Keeney, a junior from Lansing, will serve as drum major.
