Olivet College theatre program announces “Can’t Dance” cast

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College theatre program will present, Cant Dance, Nov. 20 to 22 at the Oaks Theatre in downtown Olivet. The play, which begins at 7:30 p.m. each evening, is free and open to the public. Cant Dance is an original play written by Mike Love, an Olivet College teacher certification student from Battle Creek, and directed by Arthur Williams, Olivets director of theatre. Cant Dance explores the life of Julie Ann Fontenot, a convenience store owner who must deal with an old flame, a persistent salesman and a heedful friend. Its a play where limits are tested and the characters are challenged to defend their lives. The cast features Brad Francis, a sophomore from Bellevue; Becky Gehrman, a sophomore from Battle Creek; Benjamin Guins, a freshman from Lansing; and June Hein, a junior from Lansing.
