Olivet College theatre program to present “Beyond Therapy” April 1 to 3
Mar 16, 2004
OLIVET, Mich. The Olivet College theatre program is presenting Beyond Therapy, a comedy exploring the success and significance of dating and therapy, April 1 to 3 in The Oaks Theatre in downtown Olivet. The play, which begins each evening at 7:30 p.m., is free and open to the public. This off-Broadway comedy explores a couple who need a little more dating and a lot less therapy. Jittery Prudence and bewildered Bruce just cant seem to get along, but they do help each other overcome and escape the world of psycho-therapy. This is a typical Christopher Durang comedy funny, far-fetched and painfully perceptive. The play is directed by Heather Hipkiss, a sophomore from Mulliken. Arthur Williams, associate professor and director of theatre at Olivet, will serve as production advisor. The cast includes Jeff Albrecht, a senior from Westland; Becky Gehrman, a sophomore from Battle Creek; Benjamin Guins, a freshman from Lansing; Monica Percich, a freshman from Grosse Ile; and Harville Small, a senior from Manchester, Jamaica. « Back
