OLIVET, Mich. The Olivet College Echo, a student-run campus newspaper, received first-place honors in the annual American Scholastic Press Association Awards this spring.

Earning 910 out of 1,000 points in categories including content coverage, creativity, design and editing, The Echo was one of 11 nationwide colleges and universities to receive first-place honors. This is the fifth year the paper has received the award.
