Aug 02, 2004

OLIVET, Mich. Olivet College students will have the opportunity to learn more about the services and products offered in the city of Olivet during the second annual Night on the Town, Monday, Aug. 23 from 5 p.m. to dusk in downtown Olivet. The event, which is open to the public, is being sponsored by Olivet College and the Olivet Community Chamber of Commerce.

More than 30 businesses are expected to participate with coupon giveaways, free samples and prize drawings. The event will feature live music, a clown and inflatable games at the ballpark. Fireworks are slated to begin at dusk.

Night on the Town is being held in conjunction with the colleges Welcome Week. The 2004 fall semester begins Monday, Aug. 23.
