OLIVET, Mich. Olivet College Students for Voices and Choices (OCVC), a group of students from the colleges social studies program, is hosting two debates featuring candidates for District 71 state representative Tuesday, Oct. 19 in Mott Auditorium and Thursday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 a.m., at the Charlotte Center.

Democratic candidate Ryan Latourette, republican Rick Jones and libertarian Mark Powell are participating in the town-hall style debate.

The OCVC organized to help Olivet College students and local community members get involved in the political process. Their objective is to inform people of their choices and encourage them to vote in the upcoming election.
