Olivet College to hold auditions for “The Importance of Being Earnest”

OLIVET, Mich.The Olivet College theatre program will be holding auditions for the play, The Importance of Being Earnest, Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. in the Upton Conservatory of Music Recital Hall. Community members are encouraged to audition. Prepared auditions are appreciated, but not required. Written by Oscar Wilde, the play is a comedy of love and mistaken identity, where a young man looking for love becomes his own worst rival. The Importance of Being Earnest, will be performed Feb. 24 to 26 at the Oaks Theatre in downtown Olivet. The play will be directed by Arthur Williams, director of theatre at the college.
