OLIVET, Mich.The Olivet College Department of Humanities is calling for entries to its 42nd Annual Abbie M. Copps Poetry Competition. Deadline for entries is Tuesday, Feb. 1; grand prize is $150 and publication in the Garfield Lake Review.

Only unpublished, unsigned poems of 100 lines or less are accepted. There is no limit to the number of entries per person, but there is a $2 per poem fee. Included in the submission envelope should be an additional sealed envelope containing the poets name, address and phone number with the first line of the poem included on the outside.

Entries can be sent to Laura Barlond-Maas, associate professor of English, Department of Humanities, Olivet College, 320 S. Main St., Olivet, MI 49076.
