OLIVET, Mich. Noel Dean, Olivet Colleges 2003 Distinguished Young Alumni Award recipient, will present as part of Olivets Lecture and Symposium Series on Wednesday, March 12 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in Dole Halls Klock Commons. The presentation, titled Winning Through Preparation, is free and open to the public.

As the head football coach, Dean led the Lowell High School Red Arrows to the 2002 Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 state title. In addition to coaching, Dean teaches physical education and implements the strength and conditioning programs at Lowell High School. Dean graduated from Olivet College in 1991 with a degree in chemistry. While a student, he was a defensive lineman for the Comet football program, where he was named second-team All-MIAA as a senior.
