Olivet College student newspaper receives national recognition

OLIVET, Mich. The Olivet College Echo, a student-run campus newspaper, earned first-place honors in the annual American Scholastic Press Association Awards this spring. The Echo was one of nine colleges and universities nationwide to receive first-place honors. This is the sixth year the paper received the award. Judges noted the newspapers page design and graphics as well as overall editing. Editors for 2004-05 editors included Allison Choike, a senior from Twentynine Palms, Calif.; Tracey Fix, a sophomore from New Buffalo; Lindsay Janousek, a junior from Olivet and Greg Mason, a junior from Portage. The American Scholastic Press Association honors college and high school publications nationwide. « Back
