Service awards presented to Olivet College faculty and staff

OLIVET, Mich.Olivet College President Donald Tuski, Ph.D. 85, recently honored 13 employees with service awards. Tuski was also recognized for 20 years of service to the college.

Don Walker, Ph.D., of Olivet, Social Science Department chair and professor of history, was honored for 40 years of service.

Charles Graessle, Ph.D., of Marshall, professor of psychology and director of institutional research, was honored for 25 years of service.

Leah Knapp, D.V.M., of Marshall, professor of biology, and Tammy Walters 80, of Olivet, director of conferences and housing, were honored for 15 years.

Employees honored for 10 years of service include Nicole Baker 95, of Olivet, registrar; Chris Heisler, of Olivet, housekeeper supervisor; Cynthia Noyes, J.D., of Olivet, assistant professor of sociology/anthropology; and Becky Roberts, of Bellevue, mailroom supervisor.

Those honored for five years of service include Suresh Acharya 99, of Battle Creek, Information Technology Services manager; Judy Bryant, of Olivet, housekeeper; Janet Menconi, of Lansing, Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department chair and associate athletic trainer; Martha ODell, of Olivet, director of wellness center; and John Wilterding, Ph.D., of Charlotte, assistant professor of biochemistry.
