Two named to Olivet College Board of Trustees

OLIVET, Mich. Jeff Koch and Karen Van Hentenryck have been named to Olivet Colleges Board of Trustees, according to an announcement by board chair David Hayhow. Both will serve four-year terms.

Koch is a 1990 graduate of Olivet College and a resident of New York City. He is a national account sales and marketing manager for David Yurman Design, and has served as a headquarter account executive for the Donna Karan Beauty Company and Intercosmetics. He has also served as a regional manager of wholesale and retail for the Swatch Group. His experience in retail includes launching brand names, directing sales and marketing, and managing wholesale luxury goods business.

Van Hentenryck, a 1981 graduate of Olivet College and resident of South Lyon, serves as associate executive director of Health Level Seven, Inc. She earned a masters degree in English from Western Michigan University, where she taught freshman composition and remedial English. She has also served as a writer and director of technical publications in healthcare.

The Olivet College Board of Trustees pursues policies and programs in accord with the colleges vision of an Education for Individual and Social Responsibility. The 32-member board strives to provide the best possible environment for students, faculty and staff to teach, learn and develop their abilities.
