Olivet College students’ work accepted in art competition

OLIVET, Mich.Seven Olivet College visual arts students have been selected to participate in the 11th annual Mid-Michigan Small College Art Competition. The exhibit will be on display Sunday, March 19 through Sunday, May 7 at the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson. It is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, however the museum is closed on Sundays in March. An opening reception and awards ceremony will be held March 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the museum. The exhibition is an annual juried show and includes students from Adrian, Albion, Alma, Hillsdale and Olivet colleges and Spring Arbor University. Olivet students with artwork selected for the exhibit include Amber Case, a senior from Union City; Carrie Crossman, a junior from Ortonville; Marites Eldred, a junior from Battle Creek, Erin Fredericks, a senior from Lansing; Elizabeth Koebel, a junior from Whitehall; Dustin Meisner, a sophomore from Temperance; and Caroline Schroeder, a junior from Marshall. « Back
