OLIVET, Mich. The Olivet College music program is presenting a student honors recital in the Upton Conservatory of Music Recital Hall Tuesday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. The recital will feature instrumental and vocal students performing a wide variety of music. The event is free and open to the public.

Seven students were selected by faculty to perform for the event. Each has a 3.5 GPA or higher in all subjects, a 3.5 GPA or higher in their private music lessons and has demonstrated leadership in the music program.

The recital features Danielle Adams, a junior from Battle Creek, singing soprano; Kyle Brown, a junior from Leslie, on guitar; Barbara Despins, a senior from Springfield, on piano; Therese Honecker, a senior from Olivet, singing alto; Hannah Lasley, a junior from Dansville, singing soprano; Kayla Mohlman, a senior from Battle Creek, on clarinet; and Michael Ryan, a sophomore from Eastpointe, on tuba.
