Olivet College leadership society inducts new members

OLIVET, Mich. The Olivet College chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society, recently inducted 20 new members. The following Olivet students were inducted: Kristin Bloomquist, a junior from Holt; Craig Carpenter, a junior from Lowell; Melanie Engels, a junior from Battle Creek; Russell Fried, a junior from Allendale; Heather Hipkiss, a junior from Mulliken; Theresa Honecker, a senior from Olivet; Joel Jolink, a senior from Grandville; Sharriell Jones, a junior from Detroit; Ann Marie Keisic, a junior from Sterling Heights; Hristo Kozhuharov, a junior from Bulgaria; Leighanne Larson, a junior from Williamston; Kristy Latimer, a junior from Battle Creek; David Lewis, a junior from Marshall; Ryan Newberry, a senior from Grand Junction; Eunice Oladele, a junior from Nigeria; Matthew Oladele, a junior from Nigeria; Jessica Petkus, a junior from Milford; Allison Shakinis, a senior from Muskegon; Kyle Vanderlaan, a junior from Belding, and Levi Yockey, a junior from Phoenix, Ariz. Members of Omicron Delta Kappa must be a junior or senior with at least a 3.5 grade point average and in the top one-third of their class. Students must also show leadership in one of the following areas: scholarship, athletics, campus or community service; journalism and mass media; and/or creative and performing arts. « Back
