OLIVET, Mich. Libby Jean has been named associate director of financial aid at Olivet College, according to an announcement by Douglas Gilbertson, director of Student Administrative Services Center.

She is primarily responsible for working with new students, including processing financial aid, reviewing files, awarding student financial aid and assisting students and parents with financial aid questions and concerns.

Jean previously worked at Davenport University from 1998 to 2006, in such positions as the director of enrollment, career and education advisor, verification analyst, senior financial aid advisor, assistant director of financial aid and an interim director of financial aid.

A resident of Holt, Libby earned a bachelor of arts and science degree from Davenport University in 2000. She is working on a masters at Spring Arbor University.
