Byrens named visual and performing arts recruiter at Olivet College

OLIVET, Mich. Kim Byrens has been named visual and performing arts recruiter at Olivet College, according to an announcement by Larry Vallar, vice president for enrollment management. She is responsible for recruiting prospective students who are interested in the music, theatre, journalism and art programs at Olivet. For more than 25 years, Byrens has been an active participant in performing arts, having taught and directed music at various schools and churches. She has also been involved with theatrical programs in the Marshall school district and with the Marshall Civic Center Players. Byrens earned a bachelor of music education degree from Olivet in 1981. She resides in Marshall with her husband, Dr. David Byrens, a 1980 Olivet graduate, and their two children. « Back
