OLIVET, Mich. The Olivet College Gospel Choir will present its fall concert, Saturday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. in the Olivet Congregational Church. The event is free and open to the public.

The concert includes Ashurina Chamoun, a senior from Warren, who will read her poetry and Dekwan Morris, a senior from Battle Creek, who will play a solo on the saxophone. The event will also feature gospel artist Vera Riley, of Lansing, and the Spirit of Praise from Maranatha Original Church of God in Battle Creek. The choir will be accompanied by a band, which includes Charlie Wilson, Ph.D., associate dean for academic affairs, on lead guitar.
