Service awards presented to Olivet College faculty and staff

OLIVET, Mich.Olivet College President Donald Tuski, Ph.D., recently honored 16 employees with service awards. Nancy Bassett, of Bellevue, administrative assistant to the Office of Enrollment Management, was honored for 30 years of service. Employees honored for 20 years of service include Debra Farmer, of Marshall, junior accountant and student loan processor; Bernie McConnell, of Charlotte, assistant vice president for enrollment management; and Gary Wertheimer, of Olivet, Visual and Performing Arts Department chair, professor of art and visual arts program director. Those honored for five years of service include Jeri Atwell, of Olivet, housekeeper; Carol Breed, of Lawton, Business Administration Department co-chair and associate professor of business and insurance; Lane Brumm, of Nashville, ITS technician system support; Ray Cole, of Olivet, grounds supervisor; Jim Collins, of Bellevue, ITS technician and WOCR advisor; Marcus Darden, of East Lansing, Mathematics and Computer Science Department chair, and assistant professor of computer science; James Farnum, of Lansing, head softball coach and assistant professor of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sport (HPERS); Jim Goodnoe, of Olivet, head housekeeper; Jan Love, of Olivet, head housekeeper; Richard Rabideau, of Olivet, grounds person; Jane Rhodes, of Lansing, Career Services Network director; and Deanna Richard, of Charlotte, head womens basketball coach and assistant professor of HPERS.
