Earthbound to host endangered species program

OLIVET, Mich. Earthbound, Olivet Colleges environmental awareness student organization, is hosting SOS Save our Species on Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. in the colleges Mott Auditorium. The program is free and open to the public.

Presented by Battle Creeks Binder Park Zoo, the program will focus on issues surrounding endangered species and features live animals.

Earthbound members participate in numerous on- and off-campus volunteer efforts including the campus-wide recycling program, maintenance of the Russell and Ruth Mawby Michigan Native Plant Garden next to the colleges Kirk Center, as well as providing educational opportunities for the college and local community. The organization was founded in 1990.
