Olivet College to host a French Film Festival

OLIVET, Mich. Olivet College will host a French Film Festival March 21-24 in Mott Auditorium. Sponsored by the Humanities Department, the festival is designed to expose students to the diversity of French culture. The cost is $1 per film for students with a current high school or college identification card and $2 per film for the general public. Admission for Olivet students, employees and alumni is free. The festival kicks off with The Intruder, showing Wednesday, March 21 at 7 p.m. while Thursdays line-up includes Look at Me at 7 p.m. On Friday, films include: Mondovino at 7 p.m. and Cach at 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, Aaltra will play at 7 p.m. with an encore screening of Mondovino at 9 p.m. All of the films are in French with English subtitles. The college received a Tournes Festival grant from the French American Cultural Exchange to host the event.
