OLIVET, Mich. Olivet College is gearing up for its eighth annual spring Service Day Wednesday, March 28.

Members of the college community put aside their normal routine to volunteer on campus and in area neighborhoods as part of Service Day activities. Projects range from raking leaves and painting buildings to adopt-a-highway and habitat restoration.

Service projects are organized by students, faculty, staff, athletic teams, Greek societies and student organizations. Some activities have connections to specific classes, while others are projects that need to be done for the good of the community.
