Olivet College to present “The Home Team”
Mar 28, 2007

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College theatre program will feature a play about tolerance titled The Home Team, April 5-7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Oaks Theatre in downtown Olivet. The play is free and open to the public.

The Home Team, written by Kim Carney, is set around the Gurley family who is getting ready for the big University of Michigan versus Michigan State University football game. As the play unfolds, the drama of the game pales in comparison to the surprise that is in store for the Gurleys.

The cast includes: Leslie Barr, a freshman from Livonia; Thomas Codey Giles, a freshman from Gobles; Ben Guins, a junior from Lansing; Emma Henson, a sophomore from Shelby Township; Stacey Willard, a senior from Charlotte; and Andrew Williams, a senior from Fenton.

The Home Team is directed by Eugene E. Brown, a junior from Mount Morris.
