Olivet College to perform choral concert April 15

OLIVET, Mich. The Olivet College music program will present a choral concert titled Spring is in the Air, Sunday, April 15 at 3 p.m. at the Olivet Congregational Church. The concert is free and open to the public. Under the direction of Timothy Flynn, Ph.D., music program director and assistant professor of music, the college choir, womens chorale, mens ensemble and chamber singers will be performing Schuberts Mass in G with string ensemble; selections from Man of LaMancha and State Fair (Rogers and Hammerstein); music from Leonard Bernsteins Mass and his opera Trouble in Tahiti, as well as English and Italian madrigals from the 16th century.
