OLIVET, Mich. Olivet College students now have access to a 24-hour on-campus meeting and study area. Located in the colleges Kirk Center, the area offers an opportunity for students to gather outside traditional locations.

The Kirk Center houses an 18-station computer lab and upper- and lower-level lounge areas that will remain accessible to students 24-hours a day, seven days a week. The centers Comet Caf, which offers a fast food type menu, is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. during the academic year.

Our students expressed an interest in a place to meet friends, study or grab a bite to eat, said Julie Bueche, vice president of community life. They also needed computer access beyond regular business hours. Opening portions of the Kirk Center 24-hours a day allows us to meet our students needs.
