OLIVET, Mich. Molly Goaley has been named college relations writer at Olivet College, according to an announcement by Jerry Rashid, assistant vice president for college relations.

She is responsible for writing feature stories for the colleges alumni magazine and assisting with the writing, editing and design of a variety of communications material.

Goaley previously worked as an entertainment reporter for The Tennessean in Nashville, Tenn., where she covered music and special events.

A native of Battle Creek, Goaley earned a bachelors degree in journalism from Olivet in 2005. As a student, she was an intern in the Office of College Relations, editor of the colleges yearbook and a member of the media board.
