Olivet College will partner with local churches during its fourth annual Ignite the Flame program Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 5 p.m. on Blair Halls front lawn. The event, which is part of the colleges Welcome Week, is an outdoor program that includes games, food and entertainment focused on Christianity. All activities are free and open to the public.

This years celebration will feature inflatables, prize giveaways, and free food from the Olivet Congregational Church and Olivet First Assembly of God, as well as a concert by Christian hip-hop artist George Moss starting at 9 p.m.

The 2008 fall semester begins Tuesday, Aug. 26. Additional Welcome Week activities include Night on the Town Monday, Aug. 25 in downtown Olivet, and the Presidents Opening Convocation Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 1:30 p.m. in Mott Auditorium, followed by Stand-Up at 5 p.m. in the College Square.
