Thomas named women’s resource center director at Olivet College

Dianne Thomas has been named director of the Betsy Dole Womens Resource Center (BDWRC) at Olivet College, according to an announcement by Norma Curtis, vice president and dean for academic affairs. Thomas, who formerly served as interim director for the center, is responsible for planning and coordinating student activities, presentations and events related to gender issues. Her professional background includes serving as program coordinator for Faith Health Network of In One Accord in Battle Creek, and as an event coordinator for Bellevue Community Schools. She has also held many positions as an educator and instructor. Thomas earned a bachelors degree in social work from Southern Illinois University. She is a resident of Bellevue. The mission of the BDWRC is to provide information, education and services related to gender issues to the women and men of the Olivet College community. « Back
