Olivet College is commemorating Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, Jan. 19 with a day of service. Volunteers will be traveling to the Olivet middle and high schools to work with students on service projects, including: creating no-sew fleece blankets at the middle school to donate to local foster care children; and conducting a teddy bear drive at the high school, where new and gently used stuffed animals will be collected for local police and fire departments to distribute to children during rescues.
