Olivet College to host Kellogg Community College faculty/student exhibition

The Olivet College Visual Arts Department is hosting an exhibit featuring select works from Kellogg Community College (KCC) art faculty and students Thursday, Feb. 12 through Tuesday, March 17 at the Olivet College Art Gallery. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with an artists reception Saturday, Feb. 14 from 2 to 2:30 p.m.

The exhibit, which features work in all media, is part of a unique art exchange between Olivet College and KCC in which each college exhibits the others work during the month of February. KCC is hosting an exhibition featuring Olivet College faculty and student work through February 27 at the colleges Davidson Gallery.

Olivet students and faculty featured at the KCC exhibit include: Charlene Baker, a junior from Howell; Ben Chee, a senior from Marengo, Ill.; Lindzy Curry, a sophomore from Lake Odessa; Stephanie Dixon, a junior from Charlotte; Casey Eash, a junior from Marshall; Jessica Frayer, a junior from Bellevue; Blair Kronner, a freshman from Olivet; Caitlin Lohr, a freshman from Holland; Laura Markin, a junior from South Lyon; Lauren Olin, a junior from Lansing; Rob Simons, a junior from Bellevue; Brad Sullens, a freshman from Bellville; Judith Tellez-Gonzalez, a sophomore from Mexico; Ericka Williams, a senior from Olivet; Cynthia Eller, adjunct instructor of art, from Olivet; Don Rowe, professor of art, from Olivet; Susan Rowe, adjunct assistant professor of art, from Olivet; and Gary Wertheimer, Visual Arts Department Chair and professor of art, from Olivet. Olivet College alumni Jesse Bell, from Marshall; Andrea Calhoun, from Clawson; Holly Kape, from East Leroy; and Katie Walker, from Lansing, are also featured in the exhibit.
