New student media leaders named at Olivet College

The Olivet College Media Board has recently named two new leaders of student media for the 2009-10 academic year. Christine Moulton, a sophomore from Royal Oak, has been named editor of the Echo, Olivets student newspaper. Moulton, a journalism/mass communication and sports recreation management major, is currently assistant editor of the Echo. She joined the newspaper staff her freshman year as a writer. In addition, she was an intern for the Mitch Albom Radio Show this past summer. Elizabeth Mitchell, a freshman from Portage, has been named student manager of WOCR 89.7-FM, the campus radio station. Mitchell currently works as a disc jockey for WOCR. Her background includes radio work at Portage Central High School and broadcast work with the Community Access Center of Kalamazoo. Current Echo editor, Nicole Babcock, a senior from Three Rivers, and WOCR station manager, John Shull, a senior from Hazel Park, will graduate in May. « Back
