OLIVET, Mich. Bruce Snyder has been named director of publications at Olivet College, according to Jerry Rashid, assistant vice president for college relations.

Snyder, who resides in Battle Creek, is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and managing the printing of all campus publications. In addition, he is developing and maintaining a photo library.

His previous work experience includes serving as the graphic arts director at Kaleidoscope Sports and Entertainment in Coldwater, marketing manager/graphic designer for Trail Master Products also in Coldwater, and art director for Ross Roy Advertising in Detroit. In addition, Snyder has designed textbooks and training manuals at the Michigan State University Educational Institute.

Snyder earned a bachelors degree from the Center for Creative Studies-College of Art and Design in Detroit.
