Game Mondays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, through Aug. 31 in the main lobby. Children under 9-years-old must be accompanied by an adult; pre-teens and teens are also welcome. Tables will be set up with board games and cards.
Toddler Time 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesdays, through Aug. 25 in the Childrens Room. Includes stories and simple crafts for toddlers.
Craft Wednesdays 1 to 3 p.m. on the following dates. Supplies provided; children under 9-years-old must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-teens and teens are also welcome. o June 17 Decorate cards and bookmarks using rubber stamps
o July 1 Create a self-portrait using collage techniques
o July 15 Make your own good luck charms with beads
o July 29 Design flies and bumblebees out of paper
o August 12 Draw and take home your own mandala
o August 26 Make small books out of folded paper and paper bags
Registration Drive Children and teens under 18 who register for a library card by Monday, Aug. 31 will receive a free paperback book. Visit the circulation desk for assistance. (Funded by the Lions Club of Olivet.)
Book Discussion 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Besty Dole Womens Resource Center (Upton Conservatory 140). Join in a discussion of Andrew Sean Greers novel, Story of a Marriage.
