Toddler Time 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 1 through Dec. 1 in the Childrens Room. Engage young children in stories and simple crafts.
Happy Hobby 4:30 p.m. on the following dates, in the Library Lecture Room. Supplies, instruction and refreshments provided.

o Tuesday, Oct. 13 Make a knitted hat or scarf without knitting needsBook Discussion 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Betsy Dole Womens Resource Center (Upton Conservatory 140). Join in a discussion of Andrew Sean Greers novel, Story of a Marriage.
Craft Time Saturdays 10 a.m. to noon on the following dates. Supplies and instruction provided; children under 9-years-old must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-teens and teens are also welcome.
o Aug. 29 Create monster hand puppets and wolf tails from the book, Where the Wild Things Are
o Sept. 19 Fashion a traveling bag out of a bandana and stick, similar to that of famous folk legend Johnny Appleseed
o Oct. 3 Create fanciful hats and boas like those worn by Fancy Nancy
o Oct. 31 Make a black cape from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, just in time for Halloween
o Nov. 14 Create your own Knuffle Bunny with fabric and paint markersService Day 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23 in the Main Lobby. Burrage Library is sponsoring a baby bib making project for Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. Registration is necessary and donations of cotton yarn are accepted. Banned Books Week Sept. 26 through Oct. 3. Burrage Library presents a collection of banned books.
Brown Bag Lunch Discussion Noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12 in the Library Lecture Room. Gretchen Peters, interlibrary loan coordinator, will discuss Pallister-Killian Syndrome (PKS), as well as the non-profit organization PKS Kids. Participants should bring a brown bag lunch.
Holiday Sale 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 and Friday, Nov. 20. Purchase handmade arts and crafts from Olivet College students, employees and alumni at reasonable prices. Ten percent of sales benefit Burrage Library to purchase new books.
Meals On Wheels Project Monday, Nov. 23 through Friday, Dec. 11 in the Main Library. Decorate lunch bags for Meals On Wheels, to be delivered during the holiday season. Supplies provided; all ages welcome.
