Olivet College set for Service Day Sept. 23

Olivet College is gearing up for its 11th annual fall Service Day Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Faculty, staff and students put aside their normal routine to volunteer on campus and in the community as part of Service Day activities. Projects include: cleaning the campus grounds; making cards for U.S. troops who have been wounded in combat; cleaning the Oak Chest resale shop; volunteering with Educated Animal Rescue and Teen Haven in Bellevue, and SIREN/Eaton Shelter in Charlotte; National Down Syndrome Association Buddy Walk; Adopt-a-Highway and more.

Service projects are organized by Olivet College students, employees, athletic teams, Greek societies and student organizations. Some activities are open to the public.
