Dec 07, 2009
The Michigan Insurance Hall of Fame (MIHOF) is now accepting nominations for its 17th annual induction ceremony Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010 on the Olivet College campus. The MIHOF recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to or have had a special impact on the ability of the insurance and risk management industry to better serve the citizens of Michigan. Past inductees have been leaders or innovators in their fields. Nomination forms and criteria are available by contacting Marie Steele, administrator of the Risk Management and Insurance Center at Olivet College, at (269) 749-7626 or msteele@olivetcollege.edu. The deadline for nominations is March 1, 2010. For more information on the MIHOF, visit http://web.olivetcollege.edu/mihof. The MIHOF was established at Olivet College in 1994 as a way to honor Michigan insurance and risk management industry professionals. An election panel, representing a cross-section of the insurance and risk management business, identifies leaders or innovators who have made significant contributions in five areas: education, exemplary service, legislative activity, product/service development and recruiting new participants. « Back
