Olivet College's Burrage Library to host spring programs

Olivet Colleges Burrage Library is hosting the following programs throughout the spring semester. All events are free and open to the public. For more information, call (269) 749-7608. o Jan. 16 o Jan. 30 o Feb. 13 o Feb. 27 o March 20 o April 10 o May 8 o Wednesday, Jan. 27 Martha Perkins, Ph.D., associate professor of humanities, will discuss the best way to finalize papers before submitting them to be graded. o Wednesday, Feb. 10 Jane Reiter, library director, will discuss library research with online resources. o Thursday, Jan. 14 Patrick Fields, Ph.D., assistant professor of biology, will discuss the many variations of sand, as well as sand as a hobby. Please note, the time for this event is 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. o Tuesday, Jan. 26 Joanne Williams, assistant professor of journalism/mass communication, will give a presentation titled What is the News? o Thursday, Feb. 4 Cynthia Noyes, associate professor of sociology and anthropology, will give a presentation titled Brighid and Groundhogs: Spring Will Come. o Thursday, March 18 Judy Fales, library assistant, will discuss the complexities of autism. o Wednesday, Jan. 13 Make personalized coffee cup cozies out of recycled wool sweaters. o Wednesday, Jan. 27 Two Olivet College students will teach participants how to do finger knitting. o Wednesday, Feb. 10 Create a special Valentines Day gift for a friend or loved one. « Back
