Olivet College students accepted into Michigan Small Colleges' Art Exhibition

Four Olivet College students were accepted into the 15th annual Michigan Small Colleges Art Exhibition, which runs through Saturday, March 27 at Albion College. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The gallery is closed Saturday, March 5 through Monday, March 15. Olivet College students who were accepted for the exhibition include: Charlene Baker, a senior from Howell; Casey Eash, a senior from Marshall; Rob Simons, a senior from Bellevue; and Bradley Sullens, a senior from Belleville. Baker received an honorable mention for her woodcut piece, My Uncle and Me, and Eash received the Jurors Choice award for his cast plaster piece, Descendant, during an awards ceremony for the event. The exhibit includes student artwork from Adrian, Albion, Alma and Olivet colleges. Mary Ann Wilkinson, an independent scholar and curator who specializes in modern and contemporary art, served as this years juror. « Back
