Olivet College set for Service Day March 31

Olivet College is gearing up for its 11th annual spring Service Day Wednesday, March 31. Faculty, staff and students put aside their normal routine to volunteer on campus and in the community as part of Service Day activities. This years projects include: walking dogs for Animal Control of Charlotte; volunteering at Educated Animal Rescue and Teen Haven of Bellevue; hosting a senior prom for senior residents of Tender Care in Marshall; hosting an Easter egg hunt for local elementary school children; weeding, trimming and cleaning the colleges Mawby Native Plant Garden; making cards for soldiers; cleaning and yard work for SIREN/Eaton Shelter of Charlotte; organizing a bone marrow donor registry and more. Service projects are organized by Olivet College students, employees, athletic teams, Greek societies and student organizations. Some activities are open to the public.
